CFC Bible Certificate Program

CFC Bible Certificate Program Info

Collegians for Christ is offering the opportunity for currently enrolled ECU or Pitt CC students to earn a one year CFC Bible Certificate or a two year CFC Advanced Bible Certificate.

Classes meet in the fall and spring semesters. Three classes will be offered each semester with each class meeting for four weeks. Students will receive a notebook with all the covered content. Each class will only have two short homework assignments to complete. The goal is to help you grow in your biblical knowledge and faith, equip you to know what you believe and why you believe it, and learn how to make an impact as a believer in our culture and your vocation.

To earn the CFC Bible certificate, a student must complete six classes and to earn the Advanced Bible Certificate the student must complete all twelve classes.  Students can enroll in the certificate program at the beginning of any semester.

It will also provide you with practical tools to witness to and answer the questions of atheists, agnostics, and skeptics. This class will also deal with one of the strongest objections to God’s existence which is, “How can Evil and Suffering Exist with a Loving God?”

    2. God as the Cause of Design in the Universe.

    4. How can Evil and Suffering Exist with a Loving God?

  • The Attributes of God

This class will examine how God has revealed Himself to us and how we can truly know him. We will consider how we can create a “god” in our mind to our own liking and the consequences of having this incorrect view of God. This class will cover eight of God’s attributes and discover how each applies to our lives today. Through this class each student will develop a biblical understanding of who God is and be challenged to pursue a knowledge of Him in a deeper way.

    Lessons covered in this class:

    1. What it means to Know God.
    2. The Immensity, Immanence, and Transcendence of God.

  • The Person and Work of Jesus Christ

This class will examine two key doctrines of the person of Jesus Christ: the Trinity and the Incarnation. Students will gain a deeper understanding of how God became a man and how to defend the deity of Jesus. We will examine the resurrection and provide key evidences to strengthen the student’s belief in this historical event. This class will examine the works Jesus accomplished in salvation.
